Hate to be a dissenter but...

this just isn't as good as a lot of people are saying. It does get much better half way through, but Batman Begins is 10 times better. Heath's version of the Joker is totally different and as a classic Batman fan, it was a change I didn't love. It was great acting, but I felt like it wasn't the "real" Joker, like Nicholson nailed. Great action, but poor character setup, even on established characters. I also missed Katie Holmes as Rachel (call me crazy). Maggie Gyllenhaal (who I like) wasn't as good. Harvey Dent character was done well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
