Dances With Wolves Meets The Matrix

The review title says it all. If you liked the political statements of Dances With Wolves, and enjoyed the mind blowing special effects and the Matrix you'll love this movie. I watched this in both Real3D and IMax and found that I enjoyed the non-3D version a bit better. I think that the 3D version was a bit distracting as I wanted to look around the movie at the little details and effects, but with 3D it didn't work so well. It looked like the 3D was designed to only have you focus on what the camera was focused on. Thus, looking around the screen at details made my eyes unnecessarily tired. Thus - my recommendation is watch the movie first in 3D to get the effects and story. Then, watch the movie in regular mode to see the details.
