Star Trek 11(the new one): If you liked the other Trek series', than you probably won't like the new movie. If you have never seen any Trek, than you might like it. I have seen every Star Trek movie and episode. The new movie is not Star Trek.
The cast has potential but Abrams needs to go. If you want a director to take the franchise in a different direction, you may as well get Cameron.
What Abrams has done is to commercialize Trek so that it can be slapped on to a plastic lunch box, but in ten years, this movie will have faded and people will still download Blade Runner, 2001, and real Star Trek. Roddenberry is to Abrams as Mozart is to Salieri.
