Yes; Absolutely a Must see... First; If you are the loving dad of a daughter, of any age, this is a Must See, Command Performance for you and her; Second; If you are the hopeful dad of a son, and would like to up the odds of him becoming a man, and you becoming a father in law of a capable woman, and a reliable daughter in law; Again, A Must see... If there is a concern; it is not as much with the movie as it is with the format... .and I'm afraid that the 3D version may numb the hearing and mind to an otherwise very compelling and well conceived story line; and more importantly... life lessons. I suggest the 2D version. Burton is as usual (Willie Wonka) true to the intended story line of the author, much to his credit.
Best movie of the year... so far... as dissapoined as I was overall with Batman (minus Ledger's performance), the Express far exceeded all expectations... This is a must see for all age/demographics...! A sleeper for the Academy awards... A more powerful movie and as entertaining as Ironman...
Ledger's performance was memorable yes, but Thumbs Down on the movie... nearly three hours on a merry go round is too much, even for a five year old.. The message the movie clearly sends is that while crime may not pay, it doesn't have downside ramifications or consequences either... Not the message to send to the next generation I think... This film could stand a strong re-edit...
