I was amazed by the movie, incredible acting throughout, great script, mind blowing action. It is a new, realistically gritty take on the comic book genre, it really did away with much of its comic underpinnings (like the first one) except for the characters. However, I felt that it went on too long, I think they could have saved the second half for another movie. There were also some pretty convoluted moments, but hey, its a Christopher Nolan movie, at least it had a pretty much linear plot line. Oh and it should not be rated pg13, I couldn't believe little kids were watching it, Ledger's Joker was a serious psychopath, one of the freakishly scariest characters of all time I think, not to mention the graphic violence. There is definitely something wrong with the rating system, it should not just be based on cursing and sexual content.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
