Too Much of a Dark Thing

Unless you're a hardcore Batman comic book fan, I have a feeling that after two hours and twenty minutes you're going to be begging for this movie to end (unless you've already fallen asleep like a few people I spoke with). The first 3/4 of this movie was amazing. Great action, creepy villains, everything that was great about Batman Begins, but even better. Then it kept going, and going and going... Maybe if the script had stopped at the introduction of Two Face and left us hanging it would've made for a much more satisfying experience. But as it was, the filmmakers completely killed whatever they had accomplished in the first 2 hours by introducing a new villain and an extra half hour of tension. Too bad. I was hoping for more, or less...
No, I do not recommend this movie.
