This is one of my favorite musicals, and I was very happy to see the last Broadway performance in the theater, since I couldn't be there in person. I was really pleased with the way the film showed the close-ups of the different cast members. That's not something you get in the theater. I hope that this gets released on DVD, and I also hope that this starts a trend of musical theater from the stage being shown at the movies for those that can't make the trip or afford to go. Perhaps it will also encourage people to go to the theater if they do get the chance, to experience it in person.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
