Great, fast-paced, stylish and smart action packed flick. The story was way more developed and complicated than I had imagined. Ledger's performance is legendary and worthy of all the hype surrounding it. He is downright brilliant in his take on the creepy (much darker) Joker character. In fact, I would've liked to see him in a few more scenes. I'm a little unclear of his fate at the end. Perhaps that, as well as a couple other minor details, are purposely left out to leave questions for the next movie.
Also, Bale's "Batman" voice becomes a little too forcedly gruff towards the end - but we all know he must disguise his "Bruce Wayne" voice. It just became a little too noticeable.
Pretty well developed and interesting characters; but the Joker steals every scene. Get out and see it on the big screen. Kudos to Nolan, great flick.
