I spent 3 hours in a theater with 1000+ people last night with no air conditioning- and I would do it all over again to watch The Dark Knight. Yes, the Joker was played to an almost perfection by Heath Ledger, but I say give the rest of the cast some credit. Without Bale's immaculately delivered Batman/Bruce, or Gary Oldham as an all-too-convicing Gordon, even Aaron Eckhart's Harvey Dent- all help frame Ledger's acting skills, or perhaps even make him shine so brilliantly. I am a fan of Michael Keaton's Batman, but Bale takes the character to a completely different level and if Ledger deserves an Oscar, Bale should be mentioned as well. As a female, I loved all the violence, adrenaline, explosions, Joker's sadistic intentions just as much as my male counterparts! Definitely go see this movie, and do it soon before those annoying people start giving away plotlines!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
