Too much violence & too long

Should have been rated R for all of the tormenting and violence of innocent people, scene after scene. I left feeling that there are real people that share the same twisted views on life, as the Joker did. Overall I thought is was too dark and violent to sit through the entire 2 hours and 30 minutes, it got repetitive and more disturbing.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
