Definite Must See!

I was torn between this movie and the others that are out right now and look really great. Due to timing, I decided to see The Fighter and I am not certain why but this movie, in my opinion is totally awesome and I hope to see it again. It offers the trials and triumph of boxing, the delicate balance of dealing with family, and a beautiful, everyday, love story is woven in also. All actors are great, but I must give Christian Bale his due, his performance deserves recognition.

Wow...Totally Unexpected

This movie was so clever and interesting. It reminds me a little of I am Legend and movies like it where the world is on the cusp of rebirth and the things that become important to move forward. Very interesting...did not see the twist at the end. I would love to see it again.

A Twist I Didn't See Coming

This movie was a little slow in parts. It has more of a deliberate speed. There are scenes that you don't initially understand how they fit in with the story until much later near the end, but that's with any film. The scenary and score are beautiful. The entire story winds up to an incredible twist that I had trouble believing even at the end. This is an interesting movie that's different than the usual fare and will make you think.

This movie starts off slowly, but once it builds, it is worth the wait. Good story...I'd actually like to see it again.

It Was OK

It was an interesting story but the movie was not as good as the previews. This movie is not memorable. You don't feel like you want to see it again. With such a compelling story, it could have been better. Fine acting though.

Not the Best, Not the Worst

This movie is gross in a fun way. Not very scary but simple, interesting, and at times funny. Not ground breaking or earth shattering but if you don't have anything better to do and you could use an hour and a half just to take your mind off of things, this isn't a bad choice considering all other movie options.

Better than the First

I loved this movie....it's a little long but you don't feel it because you are so wrapped up in the story. Great story...I love how throughout the action, Tom Hanks gives a history lesson. So you learn while you are having fun thru those tidbits of information. I also love how this film treats religion...gently.

Not a Trek Fan...Loved this movie

This movie is awesome from start to finish.
Previous to this movie, I'd never seen a single Star Trek movie but I decided to check it out since the reviews were so good. I am glad that I did. This movie has enough action to satisfy everyone but the underlying story is so solid that it will satisfy intellectuals also. Spend the money...see it in the big theatre so that you'll get the quality of the special effects!!! A great start to the summer action movies.
