The movie would have been 2x as long if all details from the book had been captured, but it definitely got the points across. Not overly creepy even though subject matter is. The character casting was great although I felt Susan Sarandon and Michael Imperioli are such great actors, their roles should have been expanded more. GOOD MOVIE but the book is better.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Heath Ledger outdid himself and everyone else in this movie - what a shame he's no longer with us.
