Batman is bad for our culture

I've spent the better part of my career making TV commercials to convince people to buy products, so it's safe to say that I understand the power of the media.
When a movie like "Batman" and "Wanted" hit the mainstream, it's bad for our culture. Both movies feature over-the-top violence, descriptions of child abuse, torture and other abnormal behavior -- all to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
If we keep pumping these images into our children's brains, we'll have more and more Columbine-like violence wreaked on our society.
And that, my friends, will be the greatest tragedy of all.
