A film that will live on in fame and infamy

The Dark Knight will forever be associated with the untimely death of the tremendously talented Heath Ledger which is a tragedy in the face of such a marvelous film. This movie captures the heart and soul of the Batman character like none before it, and it expertly crafts the myth into a believable, yet terrifying reality. Gotham feels so real you can almost smell it, and through spot on direction, acting, effects, script, and pretty much everything else this tale rises to the top of comic/graphic novel adaptations. This is the THE film of 2008 and will be remembered for a very long time after.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
