Didn't live up to the hype

I was looking forward to this movie ALMOST as much as I was looking forward to the Transformers last year, and I was sure it would be a hit. I'm sorry to say however that I was rather diappointed. I would recommend it simply because I am a fan of Batman and I am loyal to movie franchises that I enjoy - also, it wasn't a terrible movie I think it was just cursed by the fact that there was so much hype around it. I was expecting the best movie ever but instead I got a movie that was at times hard to follow, too many twists and turns, and not enough good Batman scenes. Of course, I like everyone else it seems thought that Heath Ledger stole the movie - he was awesome!! Anyway, if you are a true fan of the Batman movies go see it, you will be entertained, but don't be expecting a gem. Batman (1989) still the best,. followed by Batman Begins, then The Dark NIght, and Batman Returns. Batman Forever and Batman and Robin don't count in my book - two of the worst movies EVER!!
