Good, almost Great

Captain America was almost great. The time spent on the background could have been sped up a little bit. The advanced weapons were a little too advanced for the time period. I know that's similar to the comic book but for more realism it could have been toned down a bit.
The cast was superior. No overly cheesy lines that annoyed the audience. The special effects were top-notch but again some of the realism would have made the movie slightly better. We'll see how it all comes together in Avengers next year!

The Joker Returns

The Dark Night is a great title. Truth be told it should have been titled The Joker or something more focused on The Joker. One of the greatest movies of all time. There wasn't enough Heath Ledger and some of the dialogue was forced but every actor in this movie brought their A game. It should have been a little darker as well to follow the original story line but an R rated Batman would have limited a lot of customers. Who plays The Joker next? I'm sure there will be plenty of rumors for the next few years but for now I'm going to schedule another viewing of this flick.
