Great character development

I really loved the way all the characters were developed, and their personalities were very truthful to the original series.
That being said, I thought the main plot was kind of stupid. The actor's were so great, though (loved Simon Pegg as Scotty) that it overcame the plot oddities.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
