The book came out at a time whan I was bed-ridden with a back injury. I read the book in three days and I knew that A movie could do it no justice since it was such an elaborate story. I was pleased when I heard it was being made into a two-parter. Part One has remained very close to J. K.'s novel. Harry Potter-fan must-see, a great adaptation. Hopefully, Part Two doesn't disappoint, either If you haven't seen the other movies or read the novels, you'll be lost.
Very nicely done....I like how the storyline progressed from the first movie. I didn't think that there was any way to have more action than the first movie, but they succeeded beyond my expectations. I am DEFINITELY buying the DVD when it comes out.
This movie did leave out some bits from the book, but you have to consider the time constraints. Overall, this movie ran close to the book version, which was difficult since J.K. has advanced so much in her skills as a writer. I enjoyed "Half-Blood Prince" much more than "Order of the Phoenix", a movie that could have been so much more.
Batman has FINALLY been portrayed in a realistic light on the screen. The Dark Knight is a very close interpretation to the character that Bob Kane created in the comic book genre.
