See With Caution Not for Children

I and a male friend went to see the Dark Knight at the Sunday Matinee. There were many families there.
This movie should be rated R! You do not want your little ones watching this.
Yes, this movie is a heart pounding, nail biting, psycho thriller!
Yes, the late Heath Ledger should get an Oscar for his work...BUT NO, it is not for kids. There were parents taking their children out crying.
This Joker was very graphic explaining how his abusive father knifed his face into this smile....about his mother who was also abused by his monster dad who snatched this young boys life away. Unfortunately, the Joker becomes his dad and takes it turther explaining why he also likes to torture his victims ...prefering the knife as did his Dad...Even Batman's scars tell the tale of a tortued soul.
At the end many of us left the theatre shaken...male and female. Not to mention the misguided moms and dads trying to explain what was on the screen to their children.
Since the dollar rules the day, poor movie goers will get the shock of their lives if not prepared. Beware go in with your mind set on being chilled to the bone!.
