Long, but powerful

Perhaps it runs about 20 minutes too long, and those 20 mins are spent telling the story of the creation of Two Face in detail. But any moments featuring Heath Ledger on-screen were outstanding! He was, at turns, profoundly disturbing and outrageously funny as any movie villain should be. The chase & hospital scenes were over-the-moon (as much as I can say without giving away plot info). Christian Bale is good, but not as mythic in this story as he was in Batman Begins, though the film doesn't suffer for it. I also appreciate the fact that there were no inexplicable moments of cheesy romance, unlike the Superman franchise. SEE THIS ONE ASAP!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
