better the second time

i saw the dark knight on opening night, and again last night with my father-in-law...the second viewing was even better...knowing what was coming i was able to pay more attention to the score (which is exquisite), all the dialogue and the faster action sequences...all in all, this movie is the complete package...were it not for the bat suit, the make-up and scared faces, this would be an excellent urban crime drama, full of dirt and grit...add in the afore mentioned elements and you get a masterpiece melding of fantasy and reality, small-time crime and large-scale mayhem...the acting, direction, sets, cinematography, score, everything about this movie works, and works well...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
