Very, very entertaining!Who knew Meryl Streep could sing so well? Pierce Brosnan tried to sing, but didn't pull it off as well. The movie did not follow the play exactly, but did not stray very far. In addition, it also satirized movie musical production numbers, while not sacrificzing the plot. Very enjoyable and worth spending the money to see on the big screen rather than just waiting for it to come out on DVD or cable.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
