If you LOVE old period pieces like Gone with the Wind (my all time fav) and Out of Africa -- you will LOVE this film! The scenery, the spirit, the magic of the PLACE. And BAZ! If you love authentic sentimentality and romance -- this is your film! It's beautifully shot, done, and the feeling behind it is of transcendent love, which is inclusive.. so it's about our true humanity, and understanding the biggotry of the Western Culture's dis-ease. I was amazed and bedazzled by it, as I was by Moulin Rouge. Way to go! Lovely Lovely Lovely in all respects!
