Totally lived up to the hype...entertaining from start to finish, laughed, shed a few tears and enjoyed every moment. Will buy this one for the home collection!

Darker than the previous Batman movies...and quite a long movie (2.5 hrs) but very well done. Bale is by far the best actor to play this role and plays the complex "Bruce Wayne/Batman" duality very well. But without question, Ledger steals this movie and makes it so much more than previous editions. His portrayal of the Joker is very dark but perfectly done and is a fitting tribute to a short yet brilliant career.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
