the book was decent... but this movie was just so much worse. There is no character development, hardly any relationship development between bella and edward before they "fall in love", and edward comes off way too creepy sometimes. I laughed through the first half of the movie. I guess it was a good chick flick though, if that's what you're looking for.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
