The Dark Knight exceeds the hype

Let me begin by saying that Christopher Nolan's "Batman Begins" was an excellent film that forced other comic book films to step their game up. "The Dark Knight" has set the standard so high, I don't forsee any comic films surpassing its excellence. Christian Bale has captured the essence of Batman/Bruce Wayne. I think Bob Kane would be proud. Heath Ledger is mesmerizing as the Joker. His portrayal of this classic character is one of the best performances I have seen in any genre of film in the past five years. "The Dark Knight" is Ledger's final completed film and, in my opinion, his finest role. The plot is incredible, the action sequences are mindblowing, the supporting characters are cast and played very well.......Bottom line....MOVIE OF THE YEAR....OSCAR FOR HEATH LEDGER....Nuff said
