At a long 2 hours and thirty minutes this movie seems to be an intimidating watch and likely to get boring. But with its action and terrific acting the viewers will definitely find themselves thoroughly entertained from start to finish. A sure 5 stars for this epic summer follow up to Batman Begins. The entire cast delivers a tour du force performance and academy awards are sure to follow; especially for the late Heath Ledger (may he rest in peace). I only found one criticism to this fantastic film and that is that it had little down time to recover from the epic action scenes. While this will most likely not bother most viewers, but those who are not fans of action movies may not like it as much. I recommend the movie to all people as it seems to be a head above every other release in 2008. Oh, and one more thing, some more sensitive or younger viewers (under 13) may find some things disturbing or gross as it puts the Dark in The Dark Knight.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
