Yes, it's grossed $155MM in its first weekend. And it's a "summer blockbuster". It's also a pretty damn good movie. #2 in the "vaguely feasable" = "more credible" series, you get a stunning Ledger as Joker. I think he's as good as everyone says. Bale is good, too as is Eckhart and Maggie G. And Oldman. But the director - Nolan - is the man. It's two and a half hours long and it feels like it's an hour. Very hard to truly blend storytelling into an action flick, but I feel he does. Sure, you can pick holes in this. But you be a dummy not to see this movie.
