A wish...

Mama Mia is a movie that for me makes one wish they live a bit through the process of a musical. You know those moments where the joy of a moment needs extraordinary expression. Those times when so in sync with your special friends you all could almost burst into song to "say it the way it is." Mama Mia draws those kind of feelings out of one...even for those of us who do not sing in tune.
The audience was enthralled throughout the whole movie, responding to the silly moments, tender moments and ut-oh times. Yes, one can say life is not this way, too pollyanna like but consider what the gift of music and spontaneity would be for one's spirit if we were ALL a bit more playful in life.
The more realistic hope that I have is that more movies will come forth that have less of a dark side, violent themes and overly sexual but more hopeful and inspirational. We all need those shots in the arm that a movie like Mama Mia brings one.
