I heard "Sherlock Holmes" was entertaining

We saw this in 3D and enjoyed the computer generated graphics. They were truly awe inspiring and full of imagination. Hence, one of the stars. The second star is for some of the acting which was well done. The story itself was weak, politically motivated and boring. I nodded off at least six times. Even my ten-year-old son thought it was dull. Unless you adore ANY scifi/fantasy film, you shoud stay home or see something else.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Great movie with great special effects. The Joker couldn't be any more menacing. Truly frightening. Great characters and loads of surprises throughout the movie. I enjoyed it ALTHOUGH..... It is terribly (bloodlessly) violent and evil. Only go if you can handle dark stories.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
