ABBA's music is as great as ever; Christine Baranski and Meryl Streep do justice to the songs; and the locales are breathtaking. On the other hand, Brosnan is horribly mis-cast, the direction is amateurish, and the forced high-energy excitement and frenetic pace (everybody runs! everybody jumps up and down! everybody squeals with delight!) are reminiscent of a high-school production.
