Not as enthralling as a highly touted summer blockbuster should be, this movie was twenty minutes too long and suffered from plot redundancy as it tried to explore who the real villians actually are. It should have been edited down. Visually stunning without too much of the gratuitous CGI that plagues many movies of this genre, Dark Knight had great potential to be legendary piece of entertainment. Heath Ledger may well get a supporting actor nod for his exquisite tortured Joker.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
