I read the reviews, and I thought this might be interesting. A little T&A surrounding a tale that said something about our society's glorification of bad behavior. I get that. What I didn't get was how a movie that could realistically have been about 50 minutes long became a boring, repetitive test of patience. The director stretched every two-minute scene to five minutes, splicing different angles and interspersing shots from the past and future with the same dialogue repeated over, and over, and over... I really can't remember the last time I was so sick of a movie that I was praying it would end soon, but that's the feeling this one left me with. Having said that, the girls were fine, and James Franco pulled off the hustler role well. If you're looking to enjoy some nudity and out-of-control behavior (and if you are, that's sort of the point of this movie), you might get your money's worth. If you're looking to enjoy a good movie, skip it.
This movie really shows what can be done with a little money and a lot of imagination. I can't remember the last time I left the theater smiling that big. You will have a great time!
Warning: If you are a light sleeper, or overly superstitious, you might want to skip this one. It will freak you out!
