This movie is outstanding and deserves all of the great reviews.
I'll just point out the negatives because the positives are endless: The action sequences can be a bit jumbled at times and difficult to follow which is one of the few negatives. The other is the portrayal of Rachel Dawes, which is weak.
Heath Ledger is unbelievable and is unrecognizable as this sex symbol from previous movies. He is a sick Joker who's make-up and persona worsen throughout the movie which is amazing. I never once realized that he was Heath Ledger. Just amazing and I would say Oscar worthy for best supporting actor. Actually in this movie, he's the lead actor in my opinion.
If you liked Batman Begins, The Dark Knight is likely one of the best sequels to any movie I've ever seen. Finally a movie worth the $8 to watch it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
