Good but not that good.

The movie was good. I went in without expecting a lot and this film didn't disappoint. If you've seen the first film, you'll get more of it here. They were similar films in tone-- both very serious and dark. This movie was good, but I'm not sure if I liked it. It was good in that the performances were great and the script was thought provoking. Obviously a great deal of effort was made to make this film more than just another comic-book action film and it showed. Still, did I like it? I'm not sure. Perhaps this film took itself too seriously for a movie about a guy in a costume running around trying to save a city. Or perhaps the superhero was just a guy without any real superpowers. Whatever the reason, one thing's for sure, I did think about the film long after it had ended.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
