If Heath Ledger does get nominated for and then win an academy award for this performance then hollywood does not know excellence...People in our theatre clapped at scenes of dipicted violence that should not have drawn applause, however the audience was fully engrossed in Ledgers performance and bought into what he was giving which was a top notch performance!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
