I can't believe they totally disregarded the storyline from the book that started the Batman craze. Instead, they filled it with a glorification of disgusting violence...why didn't they call the movie "The Joker still doesn't pay"? We found ourselves covering our eyes or wanting to fast forward through all the garbage in the hopes the director had at least some of the book, but nothing appreciable. Shame on Frank Miller for selling out on what could have been redemption for all previous Batman movies. We called our friends...especially those with children...and told them not to expose them to such sickening characters. For instance, the Joker executed people on video. Totally disgusting, we're trying to forget the movie. Shame on the censors, too, for giving it a PG-13 rating.
