the movie was overall well put together. heath ledger was down right scary in his portrail of the joker. but i would have like to see a bit more put into the motivation and story line leading up to the creation of the joker. the diferent explanations to the scars on his face was a nice touch in order to put an air of mystery around his origins but i think hardcore fans would have like to see the road leading up to such a character. its too bad heath will not be around to play the part in the future. the two face sub-plot seemed rushed. he was good, mutilated and dead before the audience could figure out if they wanted to love or hate the character. christian bale was good once again as the man behind the mask, but in my opinion still falls short of the dark comedic personality of keaton. over all a good flick. check it out.
