While all of the actors provided believable and well-acted roles, Heath Ledger's "Joker" was outstanding. A far cry from the campy role Cesar Romero played in the Batman series of the 60's, Ledger's Joker character was brilliantly psychotic and dark, with an occasional laugh to help break up the intensity. Maybe a bit scary for smaller children. Certainly a thought-provoking and extraordinarily inventive film. The props were credible and the only scene I thought to be a little hokie was the motorcycle scene. All in all, this will certainly be one of my favorite films of all time.
