Intense Early Scenes - Predictable Down Stretch

Worth the big screen price of admission - the scenes of LA getting trashed were nothing short of incredible. After the first 30 minutes, just became formula disaster movie (annoying dog, cute children, 2-dimensional characters).
Yes, I recommend this movie.
