Epic special effects! Goes downhill from there.

This movie has the best special effects, 3D, and action sequences I think I've ever seen. The visuals are stunning (at one point I literally found myself swatting at a gnat that wasn't really there). The sound rattles you to the core. When an explosion occurs you feel like you're going right up with it. The only thing missing is the intense heat and sudden death! If you're as into that as I am, then this alone will make this movie worth seeing.
Unfortunately, that is really all that makes this worth seeing. The story itself is merely repackaged environmentalist propaganda and the plot is extremely predictable. If you need more than good special effects and sound mixing to be satisfied, you will walk away disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
