I saw this with my husband, who is a big Star Trek fan. I've never watched the tv series and knew next to nothing about Star Trek. This movie totally stands alone! It was really great and I enjoyed it immensely. I'd see this one again!
Even if you aren't a die-hard Star Trek fan, you'll love this movie. I don't think you need to know the whole story and background to understand what's going on and enjoy getting to know these characters. Great acting, especially by Zachary Quinto as Spock!

This was the best movie I've seen in awhile and a lot of fun. I saw it with my mom and we laughed a lot and really enjoyed ourselves. This movie has great singing and dancing and acting. I loved Meryl Streep...she did an amazing job! Go see this movie!!
