It's been awhile since I was sucked into movie like that. Ledger brings The Joker to life in a manner is almost unpleasant. You find yourself not really laughing at some of the things he finds funny because you can tell he has this sick sense of humor and you cant bear to think you could have the same ideas. Beyond Ledger however Gary Oldman did an incredible job as Gordon, so much so that you rarely stop to think about him acting, you just assume he is to an extent. Overall it was amazing, the pacing, the action, the seriousness of the picture made this one of the most perfectly made movies I have ever seen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
