Twilight - good as the book

I read the book first, and have to say they did a very good job of following the book in this movie. Edward is a dream - even if he's a vampire. He fits this role much better than Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. It's great to see him have the lead and play it so well. He's great with the brooding eyes and mouth!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The Dark Knight

Been anxiously waiting for this sequel since Batman Begins. This movie DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!.
There is so much action in this movie, it was worth the wait. Bale, Oldman , Caine and Freeman all portray their parts as if the original was completed a week ago. Very impressive. And as everyone has said - Heath Ledger is the best joker ever. He was another very favorite actor and he is and always will be missed.
The darkness of Batman at the end is somewhat sad though, just like other movies where the hero is perceived as the "bad" guy.
Overall - great show!
Now want IMAX!!!!!!
