I was very disappointed. Had anticipated seeing the movie for several weeks, due to schedule constraints. Acting wasn't that great. The story line was good but the actors seemed to just go through the motions. I should have waited to rent it. :(

I go to the movies for entertainment. I allow my 8 year old to choose the movies we see together. When he decided we should see Speed Racer, I wasn't expecting to be entertained, just spend some quality time with my son. Well, regardless of what others have written, I was well entertained. So much so that we went back the next day and saw it again! It was great fun and had a good story line about family.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
