We could have waited for it to be available in On Demand, but the movie time was right and in the right theatre. It was entertaining. We typically don't watch horror movies, but loved Shaun of the Dead, so thought we would give it a try. It wasn't as good, but Woody Harrelson made the movie watchable for us.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Kept my heart pumping and my eyes fixated on the screen for the next action packed moment. A bit long; many sub-plots (will need to see again to decide if those were essential or not); Ledger and Bale were great in opposition; loved the supporting characters Lucius Fox and Alfred. The preachiness/political commentary was kept to a minimum. Definitely recommended.
