Typical Romantic Comedy

You can usually tell what you are getting yourself into when you see a romantic comedy. When Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock team up you can be sure to expect a whole load of witty, sarcastic quips that may get a chuckle out of you, but will hardly have you rolling on the floor with laughter. The stars of this movie seem to have made a pretty good career out of this so why change the formula now? If there is one saving grace for the movie, it is Betty White's role as a flighty, off-beat grandmother who is celebrating her 90th birthday...she is probably the only character worth watching. There are not going to be any shockers in this film. It is like most every other romantic comedy. You will walk out of the theater feeling unfulfilled.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
