Great (Rated 4) for mature adults and teens. Too violent (Rated 1) for young children, immature teens and even adults who would be influenced by the justified violence. It is this violent factor that makes it qualified.
Beyond that it is extremely well made and acted. All principals were great. Heath was, as everyone is saying, remarkable in his unique portrayal of the Joker. Certainly award material. One fo the best BatMan movies and up there with Ironman in superhero category. I liked Ironman better.
Too bad we can't make great movies without glorifying violence. There were some redeeming qualities (being vague to avoid ruining it for viewers) but they would be lost on the immature.
