This Batman movie was entertaining, but I didn't think it lived up to the hype. I'll give the movie credit for being entertaining enough to sit through all 2.5 hours, but it I could have waited for the DVD release. This movie has an all-star case, but I must disagree with the many movie critics and reviewers who insist Heath Ledger stole the show. I think Ledger's untimely passing has led to him getting more praise for his work in this film than he would have if he were still alive. I still think Batman Begins is the better film of the two. It gives a more in-depth look at the Bruce Wayne/Bayman character and I thought the combat scenes--especially when Bruce Wayne is being trained to be Batman--were a lot more exciting. Don't get me wrong---this movie is not a flop. But it also doesn't live up to all the hype that preceded it. Unless you are a die-hard Batman fan, seeing this film can wait.
