This Tarantino flick is a masterpiece and will be one for the books. Perfectly casted. As always, amazing dialogue. Entertaining from minute one. Suspenseful, hilarious. Loved every second. I refused to get up to go to the bathroom because I didn't want to miss a bit of the movie; and I had to go REALLY bad. Totally worth risking the damage to my bladder.
Gripping. Moving. Emotional. Memorable. 2hrs and 17mins went by way too fast....I was completely drawn in right from the start. I cried about every 15 minutes. This movie is based on a book.....read it. Apparently Liev Schrieber had been wanting to make this book into a movie for years. I'm so glad that he finally succeeded. Defiance did not disappoint on any level. It really drove home the horror of the Holocaust.
The first installation in the Twilight movies was pretty good. Robert plays an excellent Edward, it helps that he's totally gorgeous. Kristen Stewart is not one of my favorite actresses, she's not very believable as Bella. Everything else about it was amazing and totally entertaining. Be ready to wait in a LOOONG line at the theater.
I think my title says it all. The Dark Knight is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I've already seen it twice (in it's first week out) and I plan on seeing it a third time. This time in IMAX. By the way, The Joker of The Dark Knight puts to shame The Joker of the original Batman.......sorry Jack, Heath is the man. I only wish that Mr. Ledger was around to see how much everyone loves this film. The theater was packed and people were applauding. GO SEE THE DARK KNIGHT!!!
